Description: Animated diagrams and space photographs combine to represent visual parallels to the explanation of the composition and origin of elements. Each of the 103 known elements is composed of variant arrangements of the same three parts (proton, neutron, electron). Diagrams show the altered atomic structure in the change of hydrogen to helium. Proceeds to diagram formation of elements from light to heavy. Formation of isotopes and new elements is shown by means of a unique sequentially lighted table. Explains the alpha process, the proton process, slow and rapid processes.
