Roots, Episode 12: Freedom, Part 2

Concludes the chronicle as Chicken George returns with a plan to extricate his family and move them to his rich farmland in Tennessee. Observes as Brent is lured into an ambush at the plantation, leaving him beaten and broken, while Chicken George and the others leave slavery behind forever. Sets forth the start of their prosperous new life, fulfilling Kunta Kinte's abiding dream of freedom.
