Description: Shows paintings by Impressionist Paul Cezanne, known for his voyeuristic, erotic, and satiric images. Many of his works were never finished, like an early portrait of his father. Points out how Cezanne perfected his technique by copying the work of masters such as Michaelangelo. Demonstrates his development of a style in which multiple viewpoints merge in the same image, where form is fragmented and made more geometric, and where scale is often totally ignored. Paintings critiqued include "The Lawyer," "The House of the Hanged Man at Auvers," "A Modern Olympia," "The Great Bathers," and "Mont Sainte-Victoire."
