Description: Filmed in Nanking, this segment presents a visit with the soldiers and officers of the People's Liberation Army. Officers eat with the soldiers and all participate in open discussions which examine strengths and weaknesses. Soldiers maintain a self-sufficient lifestyle by growing their own food and raising their own livestock. The entire company works with the civilian population on construction projects, militia training and farming.
