Description: This film features the life and work of blues musician Willie Dixon, a composer, producer, and performer who has written some seven hundred blues songs, many of which were hits for The Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, and Oscar Brown, Jr. In addition to conversations with Mr. Dixon and his band at Theresa's Lounge (a longstanding Chicago blues club), a performance by teenaged musicians who study with Mr. Dixon, and dramatic re-enactments both humorous and poignant, from his life. Filmed on location in Chicago, Illinois and rural Alabama.
