Description: Presents Dr John Gottman of Indiana University interpreting the Otto case study film from the behavioral perspective. Tells how he sees Otto coping with catastrophic expectations by trying to be all things to all people and how he does not see people as resources to help him cope with stress. Discusses how, in terms of treatment, Dr Gottman would align himself with Otto's goals and Otto's perception of things and how he believes Otto would benefit from social skills training both in terms of his work and his marriage.
