Lindbergh at LeBourget Field; being feted by the French throngs, and receiving the Congressional Medal of Honor; the airship "Bremen" and ita crew, the first to make the east-west crossing of the Atlantic; the Floroda hurricane of 1928, Coolidge and Hoover during the campaign of 1928; Hoover's inaugural; scenes of the stock market crash of 1929; the Naval Arms Limitation Conference; the founding of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation; groups of ex-soldiers crowded around the Veteran's Bureau; and throngs of Indians listening to Gandhi.
