Description: Presents the vowel "o" as it sounds in "oa" words such as goat, "ow" at the end of words such as tow, "oe" words such as foe, "ough" words such as dough, long "o" words such as hole, and short "o" words such as stop. Encourages student participation by asking the viewer to discover the difference between pairs of words, by having him say the "o" words as soon as they flash on the screen, and by asking him to spell some of the words. Includes a game which utilizes "o" words superimposed on pictures which provide a hint as to what the word is., Designed to show the major patterns of letters which give the vowel "o" its long and short sounds.
