The Chinese word for horse looks like a horse. So begins this animated presentation of a Chinese fable about the meeting between horse and man. The horse convinces man that with cooperation and a little horse-sense, he can prosper. The story is illustrated with animated Chinese characters or pictograms. In addition to telling a classic folktale, the film enables the viewer to read and interpret Language as it first appeared in simple, pictographic form.
