Intertwines the history of the South with the development of the blues. Interviews artists, friends and children of artists and people who experienced the blues. Uses archival footage of blues artists' performances and historical footage of the South to illustrate the music and history. George Pratt discusses his work process and artistry and his reaction to the research experience.
