Description: Presents the 1968 presidential primaries. Features Senator Eugene Mc Carthy who decides to challenge President Johnson on the issue of Vietnam and who enters the New Hampshire Presidential primary and comes close to beating Johnson in the popular votes. Shows how Senator R F Kennedy throws his hat into the ring following the primary. Concludes with Johnson going before a natonal TV audience to announce his plan for de-escalating the war and astounds the country with his decision not to seek re-election.
