Description: This film blends dramatized sequences with documentary footage to recapture the crusade of Martin Luther King, Jr. Biographical facts of Dr. King's early years are provided. The film shifts to the Sunday morning in Montgomery in 1955 when a young Dr. King delivers a sermon which assures that America will never be quite the same. Soon after, the civil rights movement sweeps across America with boycotts and sit-ins. Black Americans turn to Dr. King for leadership in their struggle for equal rights; violence flares, whites retaliate. Dr. King offers his followers only the weapons of "unarmed truth and unconditional love." The struggle continues from Birmingham to Washington D.C.
