Description: A film set in Yugoslavia, it tells the story of Ranko, a boy about 11 years old, who is a known tall tale teller. When he claims to have made friends with a German shepherd left from the days of German occupation during the war, no one believes him. The villagers think that the dog is a vicious sheep-killer, but are proved wrong when the dog saves Ranko from wolves.
