Description: This richly textured retelling of the Cinderella-like story evokes the techniques of director Jean Cocteau and Disney's Snow White. In a fairy tale kingdom, the King swears to his wife on her deathbed that he will not remarry unless his prospective bride is as beautiful as she. Following his consort's demise, the monarch realizes that the only person who is eligible is his own daughter.
