The film shows the sculptor at work in his studio designing small hand-held sculptures. During the film, Henry Moore speaks of his views on art, his sculptures, his feelings and his philosophy. The film also shows the progression of a small hand-held sculpture designed in the studio, its bronze casting in West Germany, the buffing and texturing of its surface and the completed work itself.
