Description: In Odessa, 1918, an impoverished film crew is attempting to complete a dreadful melodrama, only dimly aware that the government has fallen to the Bolshevik revolutionaries. Their film supply runs out and troops invade their set drawing the cast and crew closer to the turmoil which will soon overtake the country. Only the beautiful leading lady is able to recognize the political realities having fallen in love with the camerman who has secretly filmed White Guard atrocities. (Does not circulate).
