Description: Introduces the Watts Towers Theatre Workshop consisting of black teenagers from the Los Angeles Watts Ghetto. Relates that the group was founded in 1963 by Stephen Kyle Kent as a Join the Arts project, and utilizes everyday events to create a situation of active involvement and immediate importance for personal and social change. Presents these ideas by means of improvisational techniques, performing three acts by, for, and about the people living in the ghetto.
