Description: Follows three normal individuals who have been subjected to curarization to produce artificial symptoms of myasthenia gravis. Five patients with varying degrees of true myasthenia gravis who were given from 1/10 to 1/40 of a normal dose of curare, developed marked exaggeration of the symptoms. This suggests that small doses of crare can be used as a diagnostic test in cases of myasthenia gravis.
