Description: In the dead of winter, a young girl is ordered by her cruel stepmother and stepsister to bring home such impossible things as fresh flowers and strawberries. In the forest she discovers twelve men, each representing a month of the year. They grant her unusual requests until her stepmother and stepsister decide to pay the twelve men a personal visit. Based on a traditional Russian folktale.
