Triangle

Animation suggestive of 1930's German Expressionist painting is used to evoke the rise of the Nazi specter in Weimar Berlin. The carefree abandon of a cabaret is fractured when a man with swastika armband appears. A giant hand snatches the club's beautiful singer, a man in drag, whose wig falls off. Herded in a boxcar headed for the death camps are artists, lovers and Jews. The camera focuses on one of them, a prisoner wearing a pink triangle.
