Description: Time-lapse photography shows unfolding leaf and flower buds, the growth of cottonwood and silver maple fruits from the flowers, and the adventures of the seeds as they are borne away by the wind, alight, take root, and grow. Growth is speeded up as much as 7,000 times, so that the actual motions of buds, young leaves, tree flowers and seedlings are seen as they struggle to develop.
