Complete Record: This film shows United States Air Force training. Puerto Rico: Air Men learn sea survival by jumping off boats, swimming to shore, starting fires and hunting for food. Far East: J.P. Support Air Force maintenance by working on jeeps/tanks and plane construction. Florida: Air Force helps launch Polio Drive with 1957 March of Dimes including marching bands, clowns. Oklahoma: C-130 goes to work. Planes flying by, as a man gives a speech. A sign reads “Nike Guided Missile Hercules Delivers Today’s Weapons” Hercules Plane lands. Germany: United States Air Force Trains German Air Force by giving out new uniforms, and preparing for combat through Physiological Training and using a stratosphere chamber to stimulate flight. Also teaches how to load guns and shoot them. Plane TA-517 flies by. A speak to the Air Force is given in front of a BA-107 North Carolina: Air Force Pathfinders lead Paradrop. Air force draws out maps in sand, and goes out to field to practice for plane jumping. Europe: Track men Compete in “CISM” Meet including: running, hurdles, long shot, high jump, and pole vaulting. California: B-52S circles globe via map from San Diego and back. Plane prep: check engines, fuel up, men prepare for take off. Plane connects to other plane in the air. When soldiers arrive back home they are greeted by family and friends and receive medals.
