Description: Donald Long, a middle-aged, high-brow film critic falls in love with a young filmmaker hellbent on being an avant-garde filmmaker.She makes atrocious films seen as black and white enclosures. Donald, however, finds arcane theory by which to defend them against his disdainful intellectual friends. Through Joycelin's films, the rise-and-fall of their tragic-comic relationship is presented. A witty satire on the film-festival circuit.
