The great swamp is now a wildlife and bird refuge operated by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, protected against violation from man and his machines by Federal law. Film shows how the swamp is utilized by schools and universities as an ideal area for field trips, and as a living laboratory for plant and animal study.
