The Fruit Fly - A Look At Behavior Biology

Shows how the fruit fly is being used to study behavior. Details some of the basic characteristics of the fruit fly. Focuses on the work of Dr Seymour Benzer of the California Institute of Technology. Explains that by breeding behavioral mutants and comparing them with normal flies, the Benzer group hopes to isolate the roots of behavior by tracing it back to the genes.
