Complete Record: Alan Arkin and Andrew Duncan star and improvise the scene. Social worker goes up to Juan- a guitar playing student who has been missing school, in Central Park. He tries to ask him why school is so hard. He finds out that this Puerto Rican boy has no desire to take up a trade or learn better English. The social worker tries to help, but Juan feels he’s a bum and can’t do anything. The worker and Juan agree that he’ll talk to Juan a couple times a week in exchange for teaching him Spanish.
