Description: Jack Melon is too shy to have formed any meaningful relationships with others his age and is totally dependent on his athletic, outgoing brother. When Mike explodes in frustration at Jack's persistent dependence, Jack turns to a group of boys who use marijuana. Jack experiences the euphoria of being high and attains a false confidence in himself. He begins to do poorly in class and behaves erratically. When he causes a boating accident involving his older brother, he realizes the danger of drugs and resolves to change his lifestyle. (Also available in a captioned version)
