Description: Studies the strange ways of some underwater creatures: the spirograph, an animal which looks like a flower and lives inside a hollow tube; the snail, which expands and contracts the muscle of its foot; the scallop, a shellfish which uses the principle of jet propulsion; the clam, which can jump surprising distances; and the starfish, with hundreds of suction cups on its five legs. Shows each of these animals in close-up, with emphasis on the starfish and the way it stalks its prey.
