Description: Living in a virtual underground subculture, a generation of homosexuals are at long last emerging from years of silence. In this film, gay elders representing a cross-section of social, racial, regional and ethnic backgrounds discuss the ways in which they have paved the way for young homosexuals. Among them are: a male couple still in love after 55 years; a monk turned rancher who has reconciled his Catholicism and homosexuality; a Black great-grandmother whose family accepts her lesbianism.
