Description: The answer is 'no' according to this film. Jean - a Catholic - wants to marry Pete - a Protestant. But their families are less than happy to hear the news. Then Jean's priest lays down the heavy message that the Roman Catholic Church they don't like "mixed marriages," that the kids have to be raised Catholic, etc. Pete visits his pastor and gets a similar message. The only couple that are for mixed marriages get into an argument about a bris for their baby.
