Description: This film resulted from Navajo filmmaker Susie Benally teaching her mother Alta Kahn how to use a motion picture camera. It is similar in structure to her daughter's film which documents Kahn weaving a rug. Kahn records her daughter picking herbs to dye the wool and spinning. Susie sets up her loom and completes a belt which she then exhibits to the camera. (see A Navajo Weaver) , Susie Benally a young Navajo weaves a belt.
