Complete Record: This film is about a boy who is much smaller than his other friends. The film opens wit Fat Albert and the gang preparing to select teams for a game of basketball. Everyone is asked to be on a team except the boy they call Pee Wee. Being kept out of the game because of his size makes Pee Wee feel hurt and rejected. Bill Cosby makes the point that being tall is not so great and it is not right that small guys are given a hard time because of their size. Fat Albert helps Pee Wee learn how to play baseball, but Pee Wee does not show much skill until they try to play football then the gang discovers that Pee Wee is a skilled kicker. Ball gets kicked into small niche and the gang sends their pet duck, Cluck in to get the ball. Cluck gets stuck and both teams have to rely on Pee Wee and his size to retrieve the football and the duck. The gang promises not to ever bother him about his size and they praise Pee Wee as a “cool guy”, one of them tells “short is beautiful, man.”
