Complete Record: Shots of snow-covered mountaintops, man near large-scaled model of Earth, shots of a large canyon, land near water, spewing lava, demonstration on the model of large land mass breaking off into sections, which drifted away from each other, outline on globe of where the land mass used to be, superimposed over where the continents are now, he points to an area in what we call Africa, water gushing out of geysers, men looking at map, shots of the coastline, shots of canyons and what appears to be the top of a volcano, camera on globe’s surface map moving to Iceland, hot water springs, scientists studying the land, volcano erupting, flowing rivers of lava, camera moves again over the surface of the globe, host recreates plate tectonics using two cement slabs and melted metal to represent lava, map of Earth’s fault lines, continues on with demonstrating how one plate slides under another, points to fault lines on South America’s western coast and those near Japan; another man at a computer points out to tremors off Japan’s coast, two men put clay plates into machine which recreates the movement of earth’s crust, in addition to cross sections of the plates, another man relates the information given to the actual mountains
