In this in-depth interview, Note d psychiatrist Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross discusses her experiences helping the terminally ill face death without fear. She outlines the psycholgical stages the dying patient experiences form shock and denial to anger, depression, preparatory grief and acceptance. Kübler-Ross discusses the verbal and non-verbal symbolic Language used by the dying, particularly children. She illustrates this with drawings and the poems of a woman whose child has leukemia.
