Description: A New England family doctor and his wife take a boat trip through the Okefenokee Swamp, Florida. Shows the swamp's vast areas of sunlight and shadow and glimpses of tropical birds and animals.
Complete Record: Travelogue of Okefenokee, Georgia. Ford Motor Car factory. Car drives from the line to Miami, Flordia where an older couple are taking a vacation. They instead decide to go to Okefenokee National Park in southeast Georgia. Couple boat in deep swamp country. Sights include bear climbing a tree, swampland, river, spanish moss, alligator, lily pads, marsh, cypress trees, and Suwannee river. Couple is invited to dinner at a log cabin. Locals sing “Amazing Grace” and “Old Time Religion”
