Recreates the men and women of the Middle Ages and features the Peasant's Revolt of 1381 which reveals the condition of slavery and the weaknesses of the feudal system, its oppressive tax structure, its cruelty and its social inequity. , Examines the grim reality of life in the Middle Ages by focusing on the Peasants' Revolt of 1381., Dramatizes the events leading up to and including England's unsuccessful peasant rebellion in 1381, led by Wat Tyler and John Ball. Shows Tyler, Ball, and Jack Straw inciting riots and demanding King Richard II to abolish serfdom. Records the King at first sympathizing with the rebels, later turning on them, and eventually torturing and executing them., , Recreates the condition of virtual slavery which persisted throughout the Middle Ages--the situations which led to the beginning of the revolt in 1381, through its course, and eventually to the execution of the revolters.
