Description: In this puppet animation, Silly Hans receives a lump of gold for seven years apprenticeship and sets off for home. Finding it heavy to carry, he trades it for a horse which he cannot ride. The horse is traded for a cow which gives no milk, the cow for a pig, a goose for a grindstone which, to Hans' great relief, slips into a well. Hans considers himself lucky when all these burdens are eliminated and he can continue on his carefree way home.
