Description: Lobsters was originally commissioned by a documentary film company in London. Its objective was to trace the development of the crustacean from tiny crab lobster to old warrior. Moholy-Nagy's fascination with light is evident, particularly as it is filtered and reflected in water. There are shots below the surface where the sun penetrates the water providing a new element, transparency, to Moholy-Nagy's camera experience.
