Description: One of Southern California's first motorcycle clubs, The Psychos (also known as Los Psychos) formed in San Bernardino after WWII and quickly developed a reputation for toughness. While The Psychos became known for some of their community activities -- including supporting military veterans and participating in events to promote the preservation of Route 66 -- an offshoot of the club known as Vatos MC has a more notorious history. Shot in the 1970s by a proud member of the club, this silent home movie documents the club members on a ride to Sacramento. Members of the Psychos gang leave a gas station (:00). The gang travel down a freeway, they smile, point (:14). POV from a car windshield of clouds and mountains in the distance (1:10). Members gas up at a gas station, restart their bikes (1:57). Driving back down a freeway, sign shows Fresno/Sacramento (2:03). Guy rides his motorcycle (2:10). Motorcycles drive down the freeway (2:27). The journey down the freeway continues on the motorcycles, filmed from a car (2:57).
