Description: This silent home movie shows a wild, alcohol-fueled New Years Eve Party in the 1950’s as family and friends bring in the New Year with festivity, games, dancing, food and refreshments. It appears to take place in a basement and features some men in drag! The film opens with various shots of the guests dancing around the floor (:12). Horse play between guests includes members pulling at another guest’s underwear (:14). This guest is dressed as Baby New Year with a cloth diaper (:16). A few shots follow of guests pulling up their own dresses or shorts to reveal their own undergarments (:40). One guest in particular has his pants removed to reveal a jock strap (:49).
