Description: Shot by an unknown American -- possibly a pilot who was assigned to the 15th Air Force -- this 8mm home movie shows views of life during WWII in Italy in 1944-45. This fascinating film begins with shots in what appears to be Pompeii outside of Naples; the film also shows travels as far north as Falconara, towards the end of WWII, and arrival in Naples to board the USS Randolph to return stateside.
