Yes. Merry Christmas everybody. This is the 1952 Milstone Construction Company year-end party. This party is being held at the window Oliver Puit Homes housing project here in St. Louis, Missouri. Everyone who has connected with the project in any way is invited here today. [music] There's lots of food and plenty to drink for everyone here. We knocked off work a little early today just so everybody would have time to get here. We want the party to last late tonight. Nothing has been spared to make this party a great success. There's Everett Taylor, the architect's representative on the job, Mr. Beck Corporation and Tom Sherlock with the Dukeau Plumbing Company. There's Mr. Milstone with him. The excavating engineer on the job is Gan Donner. Ida Smith is the nurse on the job. Watch out for your coffee, Ida. Whoops. Jean Kissle is the stenographer and Elmer Bot, the general superintendent. There's Benny Baker, one of the carpenter foremen. This is really a wonderful way to spend an afternoon after a day outside in the cold weather. Here comes the home office force. Andy Marin, Shirley Elias, Darus Smith, and Dave Feder. They're certainly a shy crew. Hi Dave. How about having a drink with us? Swell. Hi there, Dutch. How does that beer taste? Pretty good, I'll bet. Charlie Mccel, don't be so bashful, boy. It's only a camera. There's Tom Canal. Hey, look. HE'S TAKING YOUR PICTURE. THERE'S DICK Singer from the office with Vince Knob. Hi, Head Simon. How about a little food? Any thanks? Dave Federer again with Harry Hammerman and Tom Sherman, the job engineer. Here's Mr. Milstone. Here comes Jack O2 of the housing authority. Meet Mr. Meer and Mr. O2. Hi, Mr. O2. Hi, Mr. Marin. It's my daughter, Maryanne. Mighty pretty. Many thanks. Hey, tip your hat back so we can see you. No, the other way. Have you ever seen bartenders work so fast in all your life? Boy, look at those guys go. Leon Strauss and Walter Woods. Walter's the general superintendent at the Cochran job downtown. How does that water taste, Walter? Mighty fine. Ed Simon back for another drink again. Boy, how many drinks can you handle? Three or four there. Need a little more ice for him? Help yourself, boy. Yes, this is certainly a wonderful party. Hi, Ted Gurley. How about a little drink with us? Come on, Ted. Swell. That a boy. And that's the Millstone Construction Company's year-end party for 1952. [music]
