Hans Spemann

Presents the story of Hans Spemann just after he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine. Discusses his experiments on the separation of the first two cells of an embryo, the induction of a lens in a frog by an optic vesicle and the primary organizer, which is a dynamic center that establishes the basic organization of the embryo.
