In this film, we hear lawyers in an emergency hearing argue the constitutional issues involved in a transfusion case. Should the judge order the transfusion that would save the life a woman and her unborn child over the vehement religious objections of the woman and her husband?, Examines the problems of an individual's right to believe as he wishes. Shows the conflict between an accident victim's freedom of conscience which prohibits medical treatment and a doctors' desire to give the patient a transfusion in order to save his life.
