Description: 13-year-old Joe Soo, an American born Jook Sen lives in a world where the adults speak Chinese and his friends speak English. A planned move to suburban/urban New Hampshire by Joe's family leads to a major misunderstanding by both Joe and his father. Joe responds by running away to live with his brother. During his sojourn, Joe discovers a bit of the outside world and the harsh truths about his family.
