Experience records

Portrays the use of experience records with a social studies unit in a first grade class. Using a flashback technique, shows the preplanning of the teacher as she develops interest and helps pupils formulate and carry out plans for the unit. Pictures actual classroom scenes as children plan a visit to the cafeteria, make the visit, and prepare their preliminary record of experiences. Shows the teacher preparing the experience chart and using it with the class.
