Attempts to prove the unity of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum. Uses the experiment to show that the radiation arises from accelerated charges and consists of transverse waves that can be polarized. Interference is shown in four different regions of the electromagnetic spectrum--X-ray, visible light, microwave and radio wave.
