Description: Demonstrates how 60-cycle electroshock therapy relieves experimental 'NEUROSES' but also produces disintegration of normal behavior. Investigates direct square-wave (LEDUC) electroshock therapy in the context of standard Masserman procedure and shows that typical results are again disintegration of both 'NEUROTIC' and adaptative behavior but to less marked degree.
