Description: A portrait of Black poet and political activist, Linton Kwesi Johnson. Johnson's poems, written in Jamaican creole, are chanted to reggae beat and reveal his feelings on racism and urban life in the Black working-class community of Brixton, London. Johnson is seen at the recording studio, at poetry readings, talking with men falsely arrested under England's sus law and reading at a demonstration to free a Black man framed on a robbery charge.
