Description: This influential example of collage animation, composed of nineteenth century catalogues and texts, presents a man as the magus and a woman who rises to heaven where she becomes fragmented. The magus attempts to put her back together but does not succeed until the pair are eaten by the giant head of a man. They descend to earth in an elevator. The divided being is thus reintegrated.
